Great Performance wheels

I must admit i was first attracted to the EROX Ultraspeed 800 for the look of the wheel. The specifications of the wheels seemed very similar to some others on the market however i was surprised by the superior level of performance i felt as soon as i started riding them.

The wheels accelerate quickly and smoothly and seem much more capable of holding high speeds comfortably than other wheels i have raced on. Once they get moving they keep moving. For a wheel with such a deep dish, 85mm in height, and one that is so aerodynamic i was also surprised by the handling ability of the wheel set. Racing Olympic distance courses where they are sometimes a loop type format with sharp turns and tight corners the handling aspect of an aerodynamic wheelset can let you down, not the Ultraspeed 800. It feels fast into corners and accelerates quickly out of them.

Even on windy days the Ultraspeed 800 doesn't seem to catch as much wind as other deep dish/ tri spoke wheels i have ridden. I felt more comfortable on this wheel straight away than I have after 100's of kilometres on other wheels.

The ceramic hubs are an added luxury that seem to keep the wheels spinning effortlessy whilst cranking almost any gear. i don't want to jinx myself but the Vittoria Corsa Evo tyres that came with it from the factory are bullet proof and, after you get about 20k's on them, have excellent traction in almost all conditions.
