Nadia Cortassa achieved a great result coming 2nd behind Vanessa Fernandes. Well done.
Erox Disc Wheel - Coming in early 2008

The aerodynamic wheel has spun into the mainstream market in the past few years. Now Erox has made aero wheels more affordable and user friendly than ever before. For example the brand new feather light disc, with a cross-like protruding surface, claims to reduce crosswind and generate airflow more effectively than a normal flat disc.
Developed in the wind tunnel with the newest research regarding crosswind.( during cycling the rider has more than 80 % crosswind). The combination of single with multi layer technology is used for the first time in a disc wheel. This reduces the effects of road vibration. The new disc has an extremely lateral stiffness by allowing power to be directed to the pavement.
Best aerodynamic, feather light and maximum stiffness with special anti vibration provide Erox all the features off a new generation of disc wheel. Other advantages are the combination of a single layer with the aerodynamic raised surface protects against incoming water.
The Erox ultra disc is available for 19-23 mm tubular tyres, Shimano, Campa or track body. Four sealed bearings (ceramic optional) weight 1100 g

Great day for our boys
Cameron Good achieved a good 4th Rank at the Nepean Triathlon in Penrith today, this in his building up phase, well done Cam.
Tim Berkel, after a great 4th Rank at Port Mac Half, WON the Shepparton Half Ironman dominating the race from the start until the finish. Congratulations Tim!!
TIM BERKEL 2nd Rank Gold Coast Half Ironman 30.09.07

Read below the race report from Tim:
A quick run down on the Cannibal Gold Coast Half Ironman held on the 30th of September- Wow what a day out!
I woke up race day feeling really good and deciding it was going to be a great day with not a bad pro field on the start list. We headed down to Coomera waters just outside the Goldie for a 6am start, with what turned out to be great, although pretty hot, weather.
In the swim i felt pretty strong, coming out of the water in 5th with a time of 24:35. I mounted the bike feeling strong, and along with Oyvind Johannesen, managed to get a break on the chase group, picking up race leader Paul Matthews at the 45km mark. The pace shut down after we picked up Paul, all of us motivated to save our legs for what was shaping up to be a very hot run. We came off the bike with about 4 minutes on the chase group, with me clocking a time of 2:17:08, still feeling good and pumped for the 21km run.
We ran the first 1km together, spurred on by my good mate Pet Murray who was going off in the commentary box. Johannessen was the first to be dropped, with me taking a few kms to get my running legs and by the half way mark Mattews had established a gap of 1:50. However i started to come good as he began to fade slightly and i began bringing the gap back, eventually running out of miles, however, with Matthews taking the win in 4:03:04 and me coming in 1:25 behind (4:04:31) with a running time of 1:22:47. My good mate John Cornish rounded out the podium with a time of 4:10:01.
Overall i was stoked running down the finish line having the support of my family and the crew from Port Mac, and the 2nd place has only given me more motivation to go one better next year!
Thanks again to mum, mick, em and all the support from the port crew, and a huge thanks to my sponsors without whom i couldnt have done it:

New EROX hubs also with ceramic bearings

Ceramic ball bearings weigh up to 40% less than steels balls, depending on size. This reduces centrifugal loading and skidding, so hybrid ceramic bearings can operate 20% to 40% faster than conventional bearings. This means that the ball exerts less force outward against the outer race groove as the bearing spins. This reduction in outward force reduces the friction and rolling resistance. The lighter ball allows the bearing to rev up faster, and uses less energy to maintain it speed.
Erox wheels: you can get the black standard hubs or with up charge the red ceramic hubs.

Ironman Switzerland (24.06.07)
Great atmosphere and great results for the Erox-Aeromax Racing Team and the other Erox supported athletes. Ali Fitch finished in great 3rd place, with a new PB of 9:31, she is having a great season, after being 2nd in Malasyia and 5th in Australia. Tim Berkel, the fresh 23 young athlete from Port Macquarie, showed again what big talent he is, finishing in 5th position, with a new PB of 8:49, and this in his only 2nd IM. Well done Tim. The swim was an absolut Erox wetsuits race, with in the male 1st (Clarky) 2nd (Bala), 3rd (Matthias), 5th (Berkel) out of the water, and 2 top 5 swims in the women field. This shows how fast the Cell Sphere Pro is. From the other supported Erox athletes Ronny Schildknecht won the race in 8:25 in front of teammate Matthias Hecht. Balazs Csoke finished in 13th place, in 9:21, which is a good first IM for the young hungarian athlete.
Now we are looking forward for the next races, Clarky and Berkel are at the 70.3 Vineman and then Tim and Cam will race at the half IM in Yeppoon in August. Ali will be again at the start for the 70.3 in Singapore.

70.3 Rapperswil (03.06.07)
Our athletes had a great day in Rapperswil
The guys from Erox-Aeromax racing team had, under tough conditions (water temp 14 degrees only) a solid result. Clarky (9th), Tim Berkel (10th), Ali (6th) and Balazs (17th). After the swim Clarky and Bala came out 1st and 2nd out o the water, Cam Good had a great swim for him (6th). Generally our Cell Sphere Pro wetsuit was well represented in the top 10.
Jimmy Johnsen had a great bike and run and finished in good 3rd place.
The race was dominated by Ronny Schildknecht who dominated on the bike and had a fantastic run. He will be one of the top favourites at the IM Switzerland in 3 weeks.
Karin Thuerig, although she has not been training specifically triathlon this year as she is focusing on the bike for the next year olympic games, finished in a great 2nd place behind Nicola Spirig.

cell sphere the blue/white wetsuit, the only suit on the market with a fish skin similar surface are to be seen ever more completely in front.
